Oildown: Grenada's National Dish
Oildown is a cook up containing chicken and/or pig tail, dumplings, breadfruit, boiled bananas, yams, dasheen, callaloo, and other green vegetables. The whole thing is stewed in coconut milk, with Grenada’s exotic herbs and spices, sustaining the title of Grenada’s National dish. One great ting about this dish is that one can add their twist to it for a colorful, mouth-watering, satisfying meal.
Like Grenada’s national dish, Dlement’s mix, “Oildown”, is a combination of genres including RnB, Pop, Soca, Dancehall and Club.
