As we get ready for another festive Carnival season, lets remember to do it in a safe way.Combining melodic Chants and Lyrical Composition over hypnotizing rhythms mixed with distilled aged beverage can be an enjoyable experience if mixed in the right proportion, but can lead to Serious and even fatal consequences if we are not responsible..So enjoy RUM and SOCA together and don't add any other activity that can lead to Harming yourself or others..

Inspired
by one of the most popular apps out there right now in social media, Instagram,
this Carnival 2013 Soca mix by Dlement, Instafete is a combination of
the past, present and future sounds. Like Instagram, modern photos are then
filtered to give a vintage touch; Instafete features songs from Carnival 2013
connecting the modern evolution of Soca, allowing the vintage beats from the
past to make the hairs on the back of yuh neck raise with memorable feelings of
fetes past. Featuring the legendary
Super Blue and Crazy, to the contemporaries of Machel, Denise, Bunji and Alison
Hinds just to name a few.
Not to mention some of the younger artists on the scene, like Swappi who I consider to be a rejuvenation or a compliment to artists like Bunji Garlin or Erphaan Alves and Devon Matthews who have a similar sound to Machel Montano yet still making a mark in the Soca scene. Instafete also features the women in soca from Nadia Batson and Patrice Roberts with chunes declaring their independence to Destra and and Fay-Ann (like always) gracing us with their powerful vocals mixed with catchy melodies over infectious riddims. This mix also features tunes from Prophet Benjamin, Lil Bitts, Lyrikal, Buffy that will keep you fetetin… So take a listen, find yuh bottle and spoon and possibly purchase a ticket for Carnival… EnjoyClick- Listen-Enjoy-Share ..<<<<<<<<<<<

Thanking the almighty for giving me the opportunity to see another day and for that I amBlessed to explore and sharethe adoration I have for my Spice Isle through music.
The Spice Isle is a striving island that overcame a lot of changes in the past. This helped in building the foundation for many great accomplishments as a people and a nation to add to our historic culture moving forward. And at the 2012 Olympic Games in Great Britain, it gave us an opportunity to show and prove to the world that this small island in the sun shows the determination and strength, not only of Grenada but for our culture, heritage, and even individual struggles.
The Olympic showcases many faces representing different countries, each being proud athletic diplomats in various competitions over the 18 days. Some were swimming and others jumped, but Grenada… we “Ran Things”. Whether it’s gold, silver or bronze, the ultimate reward is being given the chance to wave your country’s flag for the world to see.
It was amazing to witness Grenada’s superstar Kirani James winning the first ever medal (a GOLD) for our country and to mark this historic achievement by yours truly ,Dlement, I’ve compiled some festive, catchy and rhythmic songs from Grenada 2012 Carnival season. So without further ado, CLICK-LISTEN-SHARE not only great music from Grenada but let’s use this mix to celebrate this historic mark and accomplishment of our country man!

From the hottest tracks like "Jab Doh Care" from Lavaman, "Don't Tell Him" from Inspector, "Jab All Over" from Talpree, and 2011 Grenada Road march "So We Deh", also from Lavaman. This mix will have you wanting to play a wicked Jab for sure..
