RUN TINGS

Thanking the almighty for giving me the opportunity to see another day and for that I am Blessed to explore and share the adoration I have for my Spice Isle through music.

The Spice Isle is a striving island that overcame a lot of changes in the past.  This helped in building the foundation for many great accomplishments as a people and a nation to add to our historic culture moving forward. And at the 2012 Olympic Games in Great Britain, it gave us an opportunity to show and prove to the world that this small island in the sun shows the determination and strength, not only of Grenada but for our culture, heritage, and even individual struggles.

The Olympic showcases many faces representing different countries, each being proud athletic diplomats in various competitions over the 18 days. Some were swimming and others jumped,  but Grenada… we “Ran Things”. Whether it’s gold, silver or bronze, the ultimate reward is being given the chance to wave your country’s flag for the world to see.
It was amazing to witness Grenada’s superstar Kirani James winning the first ever medal  (a GOLD) for our country and  to mark this historic achievement by yours truly ,Dlement, I’ve compiled some festive, catchy and rhythmic songs from Grenada 2012 Carnival season. So without further ado, CLICK-LISTEN-SHARE not only great music from Grenada but let’s use this mix to celebrate this historic mark and accomplishment of our country man!

Newspaper article from Caribbean Life Publications in NYC

"I just released THE VIRAL MIXTAPE – VOL. 1 [T.V.M] this past New Year’s Eve, 2010. DJ DLEMENT mixed more than 47 of my tracks for this project, which has been getting rave reviews in the street, so shouts out to him for that. The next step is to release T.V.M II, which I can tell you personally is gonna be something to look forward to for music lovers in general. "  — WynterStar, The eXponent: Entertainment to the 3rd Power
"...On this tape Prophet Z gives us a healthy dose of, in his words,"Reggae, Dancehall, Hip Hop and R&B…in order from maddest to baddest. " "  — Kerisa Jones , BACK 2 BASICS
"Toronto’s native reggae sensation Prophet-Z has managed to win the hearts and votes of the hundreds..."  — A.D. The General, Birthplace Magazine
